How to Copy Facebook Video URL or Video Link

A Facebook video URL is the web address of a specific video on the Facebook website. The basic structure of a Facebook video URL is similar to other types of URLs, with the main difference being that it includes the name “facebook” in the address.

The basic format of a Facebook video URL is:

https://www.facebook.com/<username or page name>/videos/<video_id>

For example, if a video is on a page named “OpenAI” the link will be like this : “https://www.facebook.com/Opuq/videos/<video_id>”

It’s important to note that the video_id is unique for every video and it can’t be guessable.

If you want to share the video with someone you can simply copy the link from the browser address bar when you are watching the video or you can also click on the share button on the video player and select the option ‘copy link’ to get the URL of the video.

It’s also worth noting that Facebook videos can also be embedded on other websites using an embed code, which is a snippet of HTML code that can be added to a webpage to display the video. The embed code can be obtained by clicking on the share button on the video player and selecting the option ’embed’.

  4. You can also right-click on the date/time stamp of the video post, and choose “Copy link address” or “Copy link” depending on the browser you use.
